Love this! Type tastes through time.
y'know that guy from nz
His name is Ludwig Wendzich and he doesn't usually speak in the third person. He lives in Auckland, New Zealand after emigrating from South Africa when he was seven years old.
He has a passion for art and design. He is currently a web designer stroke developer who has a particular interest in designing the user experience; mixing usability and accessibility with aesthetics to maximize efficiency and enjoyment.

300&65 Ampersands. Love it!
Love reading these, especially other designers’ responses!
Will location-based services like Gowalla be the next big thing? I don’t know, but I’m liking it right now.
My hopes and dreams for the Tablet.
Seems I’m not alone in my thinking about Android:
Android’s most serious problem right now is fragmentation: with each new phone, it seems, comes a different version of the OS. In theory, these differences are superficial, and come down to handset manufacturers’ and carriers’ custom interfaces, which sit atop a mostly unchanged Android core. In practice, it’s much worse.

Vote to get this t-shirt printed from Threadless! Designed by Jayesh Bhana, from my design school class 2009. Brilliant.
If this is the Apple Tablet then it looks like it will be running Mobile OS X and not Mac OS X as I’d hoped. I would prefer a Tablet with Mac OS X that could boot into a simpler to use (think Front Row) interface. I don’t think I need a Tablet running Mobile OS X — I can get a Touch for that and I don’t think that the extra screen-real-estate is anything I’d pine after.
Love the site design, so simple and beautiful. Also enjoy seeing fellow Aucklanders in their best. Subscribe. (via Lucy Arnold)
Will keep checking back until my favourites are supported.
Looks amazing! Wondering what the upgrade path will look like though…
They do matter, it’s one of the easiest ways to know that the website you are on is really Facebook.com and not something else with just a Facebook design on it. I believe people use URLs for an indicator of authenticity online.

This is useful, save for later.
I wish I read this earlier! Would have saved me bothering him quite a bit and also would have stopped me from redundantly making my own list of problems with running a website on Tumblr, as it is right now, as my list happens to be very much the same as his!
Unfortunately his post was written “1 year ago” and these issues still haven’t been addressed.
